First Lady Trains with Media Divas For March 8 Half Marathon

First Lady Margaret Kenyatta trained for her forthcoming March 8 half marathon with media ladies at state house on Thursday. This will be the second edition of the Beyond Zero initiative a brainchild of The First lady. The Media Divas included Radio Africa's Caroline Mutoko, Citizen's Judy Gichuru, NTV'S Sheila Mwanyigha

Some 42 thousand shillings was raised by the divas for the Beyond Zero initiative. Beyond zero Initiative seeks to combat HIV/AIDS and prevent maternal death by providing mobile clinics.

Valentines day is fast approaching and men all over the world are a worried lot. A lot has happened since the last Valentines day, and if you ask any woman, things went back to normal. No more flowers and Candy and sexy lingerie. No more saying I love you and just cuddling. That ended on he 15th of February after a romantic night of dinner, wine and sex. Now that the day is approaching men are calculating how to make their moves. Most of them have already been consumed by other pleasures starting with the world cup, then the English premiere league and of late the AFCON. Well the woman has been there all along looking and yearning for some love and affection. What a woman wants most is to be loved. It is that simple, yet many men say that women are complicated. Show a woman some love and affection and you have won her over. This however should be all through and not only during Valentines day. I recently met my friend who lives in the United Kingdom. He had come for a short visit here in Kenya and called me for some drinks. Well when I arrived at the venue I met him at the car park accompanied by his wife. We proceeded inside the restaurant and as I sat down on a chair I noticed that he did not, instead he pulled a chair for his wife to sit on and only did so himself after her wife had sat down. I was flabbergasted and asked him whether he did that all the time to which he replied to the affirmative. I told him that  kind of thing we only see in movies.

Well a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step and we can all learn something from our British men. Well they might not be the most romantic men compared with their Italian and French counterpart but at least they still open car doors for their partners and pull out chairs in restaurants

Back to Valentines and the question most men are asking is, how do i impress my partner on Valentines day and thereafter. Well first men can begin slowly getting their communication right. Maybe you have not been calling your woman as often as possible. Call her at least three times a day.
Text her a dozen times. A study by the university of Maryland College of medicine found that women speak 20,000 words in one day. This is almost three time what a man speaks which is 7,000 words.
Therefore call her, ask her how her day is and then when you go home in the evening talk to her some more and then listen to what she has to say. By listening I mean listen, not hear.
Buy her small gifts, this might be a chocolate, a sweet a handkerchief. Remember this is not D Day yet we are just prepping. Tell her how much you love her and value her. When it is time for bed don't think about sex first, think about cuddling. Men are visual beings and they are always ready for sex at any instance. The moment a man sees his woman all he thinks of is getting over with the sex bit and then? Slumber land follows. A woman is an emotional being and even though sex is important it comes gradually. Think of it this way, a man is a gas cooker and a woman is an electric cooker. A gas cooker ignites immediately and extinguishes instantly. An electric cooker on the other hand ignites slowly and also when it comes to cooling off  it does so gradually. Men should learn how to strike a balance so that they can ensure their women are well catered for emotionally. So therefore Cuddling is a key word.
Romantic dinners is also important. Take her out to a Chinese restaurant or whatever restaurant that might bring out the romance. Just the two of you in a get away and candle lit dinner.

NFL Superbowl Action Goes down this weekend

Millions of fans world wide will be watching the finals of the 2015 American super bawl49. This events brings together football fans from all over the world. Dear Reverend Kathy Kiuna. I see you always. In my television every Sunday preaching the good word In the JCC program-me on KTN. I together with millions of others get inspired by your captivating, inspiring uplifting messages. I follow you on your program-me Woman without limits  that airs every Sunday on NTV. You are a Woman of substance. You have been sent to this generation at such a time as this for a purpose especially for the young women. To uplift them from the captivity of negativity. For many years the girl child has been told that her place is at the bottom of the ladder. But Dear Reverend Kathy Kiuna I watch you speak words of life unto our girls and women.

When God found Adam hiding from Him at the Garden of  Eden with his wife, He asked him, Adam why are you hiding? And he answered, because I am naked. God asked him a very powerful question.

Many generations of girl children have been told many things. You can never amount to anything. Your place is in the Kitchen not the Corporate boardrooms. You told them during Daughters of Zion, You have overcome because the one inside you is greater than him that is in the world. Positivity overwhelms the Daughters of Zion meetings. Dear Kathy Kiuna, please continue and don't stop. Tell our women that they can drive Mercedes Benzes and Four wheelers. Tell them please that indeed they can live in Runda and Lavington and Kileleshwa and Lavington. Who told them that they can only live in eastlands? I want to see a Kenyan girl dressed in a power suit, with keys to her house and to her car that she has bought with her money. I want to see a kenyan girl that can run a board meeting without batting an eyelid.

That their eyes would be open and that shackles of the captivity of negativity van be broken. Dear Reverend Kathy Kiuna because you are one in a million. House girl forces small boy under her care to suck her private parts

A house girl in Zimmerman area of Nairobi county in Kenya surprised many people when it was found out that she has been secretly forcing a boy under her care to lick he private parts. The little boy whose mother was a working mother going away daily to look for money for upkeep was always left behind with the nanny. The nanny taking advantage of the freedom of being alone with the boy decided to experiment her dirty thoughts with the boy. According to the boy's mum, she came home one day and noticed that her son was tagging along her every move. That is when she decided to ask her son what was the problem. The boy then proceeded to spill all the beans and told her mom that "aunty" has been telling him to lick her private parts. This incidence raises a lot of questions about the safety of our children when we leave them with nannies for the better part of the day. Parents should also do a thorough background check of the nannies they want to employ before leaving their children with total strangers. Recently a Ugandan nanny was caught on tape mercilessly beating a two year toddler. The footage which was taken by a CCTV camera went viral on social media generating a lot of hatred towards the nanny. In the Zimmerman incidence the nanny tried to defend herself by saying that she only removed her skirt and not everything. At this rate many career women and men too might be forced to quit their jobs and take parenting as a full time job

Sonko draws a pistol to reporters live on National TV

When it comes to showmanship you got to leave it up to one Mike Mbuvi Sonko, Nairobi county senator. Ever since he got into the limelight Mike Sonko as he is popularly referred to has caused ripples and ruffled feathers. From punching iron grills to lying on streets to insulting airport staff in the Hague to putting the very president on loudspeaker while calling him.
Hate him or love him, Mike Sonko is the man that will always be on the news. 
Over the Christmas holidays Sonko was seen on the coast side of Kenya splashing his millions with friends and family. The flamboyant senator says that whoever is uncomfortable with the way he flashes his millions should pound glass and swallow or better still swallow razor blades. In other words the man is not ashamed of showing off his millions to whoever cares to see them. On Facebook recently he showed off his stacks of millions to the awe of  millions of Facebook users. He later posted on Facebook requesting people who had any need to comment and say their needs which he would sort by the end of the day. The post went viral with thousands of likes, comments and shares.
The latest Sonko Saga is one in which he showed up in one of the city funeral homes with his entourage complete with armed bodyguards. This according to security analyst raises very sharp concerns as it is not good for guards not uniformed to display fire arms. Talking to pressmen sonko disclosed that he too is always armed with a gun and he went on to brandish a pistol right in front of the cameras. He argues that he would rather be caught prepared rather that being caught like a sitting duck.
His guards have been accused of intimidating motorists while Sonko drove on the wrong side of the rode as his entourage blared its sirens.
Well hate him or love him, but one thing is clear, sonko is gonna continue springing surprises at us for as long as we have him around.
