The kikuyu singer famed for the song ino ni Momo is dead. Murimi wa kahalf popularised the plus size woman with his hit song momo. Murimi searched far and wide to find a true momo and even gave a cash reward of kshs 5000 for any one who would help get that woman to do the momo song with him. It is with sadness that his fans received the news of his demise.

Is Moody Awori Really Dead

Is Moody Awori really dead? The answer to that question is a solid NO. These were rumors started
by a certain blogger for reasons best known to himself. Moody Awori or uncle Moody as he is most commonly referred to is alive and kicking. Some prominent people tweeted that Moody had died and other people started re tweeting those tweets thus fueling the bad rumor.
Arthur Moody Awori was born on December 5 1927. He rose to prominence after becoming the 9th vice president of Kenya from 25 September 2003 to 9 January 2008.

Most women do not shower daily says recent survey

A recent survey showed that 4 out of 5 women do not take a shower when they wake up. That is 80% . 2 in every 5 men do not take a daily shower. Growing up girls are always told the importance of taking a bath at least twice daily. For girls and women it is more crucial to take that twice daily bath but it seems that they are the lazy ones here. It is surprising to hear that some women even go for days without taking that all important shower. Most women attribute this to tight schedules and motherhood. In other words some women are too busy to take care of themselves. After a hard day at work they would rather hit the blankets rather that hit the showers. Some other women claimed that they would rather save on water costs rather than waste the commodity.

In Africa where in some parts women have to walk for many miles to look for the all precious commodity, water it is only natural that they use it for cooking and drinking than showering. However their counterparts in the urban cities would only have a busy schedule to blame for not showering. In some parts of the cities where there are large populations, water is scarce and thus households

would rather save it than use it carelessly bathing.

Lupita Nyong'o Back in the Oscars Again

Lupiter Nyongo the 31 year old Kenyan actress who took the world by storm when she won an Oscar for best supporting female actress for the movie 12 years a slave will be back again in this year's Oscars. Valentines day is fast approaching and men all over the world are a worried lot. A lot has happened since the last Valentines day, and if you ask any woman, things went back to normal. No more flowers and Candy and sexy lingerie. No more saying I love you and just cuddling. That ended on he 15th of February after a romantic night of dinner, wine and sex. Now that the day is approaching men are calculating how to make their moves. Most of them have already been consumed by other pleasures starting with the world cup, then the English premiere league and of late the AFCON. Well the woman has been there all along looking and yearning for some love and affection. What a woman wants most is to be loved. It is that simple, yet many men say that women are complicated. Show a woman some love and affection and you have won her over. This however should be all through and not only during Valentines day. I recently met my friend who lives in the United Kingdom. He had come for a short visit here in Kenya and called me for some drinks. Well when I arrived at the venue I met him at the car park accompanied by his wife. We proceeded inside the restaurant and as I sat down on a chair I noticed that he did not, instead he pulled a chair for his wife to sit on and only did so himself after her wife had sat down. I was flabbergasted and asked him whether he did that all the time to which he replied to the affirmative. I told him that  kind of thing we only see in movies.

Well a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step and we can all learn something from our British men. Well they might not be the most romantic men compared with their Italian and French counterpart but at least they still open car doors for their partners and pull out chairs in restaurants

Back to Valentines and the question most men are asking is, how do i impress my partner on Valentines day and thereafter. Well first men can begin slowly getting their communication right. Maybe you have not been calling your woman as often as possible. Call her at least three times a day.

Therefore call her, ask her how her day is and then when you go home in the evening talk to her some more and then listen to what she has to say. By listening I mean listen, not hear.
Buy her small gifts, this might be a chocolate, a sweet a handkerchief. Remember this is not D Day yet we are just prepping. Tell her how much you love her and value her. When it is time for bed don't think about sex first, think about cuddling. Men are visual beings and they are always ready for sex at any instance. The moment a man sees his woman all he thinks of is getting over with the sex bit and then? Slumber land follows. A woman is an emotional being and even though sex is important it comes gradually. Think of it this way, a man is a gas cooker and a woman is an electric cooker. A gas cooker ignites immediately and extinguishes instantly. An electric cooker on the other hand ignites slowly and also when it comes to cooling off  it does so gradually. Men should learn how to strike a balance so that they can ensure their women are well catered for emotionally. So therefore Cuddling is a key word.
Romantic dinners is also important. Take her out to a Chinese restaurant or whatever restaurant that might bring out the romance. Just the two of you in a get away and candle lit dinner.

NFL Superbowl Action Goes down this weekend

Millions of fans world wide will be watching the finals of the 2015 American super bawl49. This events brings together football fans from all over the world. Seattle seahawks Vs New England Russel wilson will be the man to watch.  The NFL is divided between 32 even teams of NFC National football conference and AFC American football Conference. Apart from footbal NFL fans this event is fully booked in terms of advertisement spots. The NFL draws together 100 million viewers and that is something that makes the advertisers mouths water. It is funny that the sporting event actually draws much commercial interest than sports appetite.
